Goodbye Tanzania, Hello Thailand

Friday the 13^th was the beginning of our epic trip to Thailand. We woke up, finished packing, and prepared to leave. That afternoon we had our last lunch at the restaurant at KCMC with Sam. At 2:30, our taxi friend Alfred picked us up and took us to the Kilimanjaro Airport. We gave him a parting gift and said our goodbyes to Tanzania. We had a 2 hour flight to Addis Ababa Ethiopia, followed by a 6 hour layover, and then our final 9 hour flight to Bangkok.

So we landed in Bangkok at 12:30 PM Saturday afternoon. We had to stop in at the health desk to be cleared for entry into the country, got stamped at immigration, and then finally collected our bags and hopped into the cab for Jomtien Beach, Pattaya. Let the 5 week vacation begin!!

We arrived at the Shakespeare Hotel, had some amazing Thai food at the restaurant across the street, collected some goodies at 7 eleven, and went to bed early.
