Whales and Burns

Monday was a relaxing day. We slept in until around 11, had some amazing chicken fried rice, and went to the beach for the day. I wore my new swim trunks and Thelma wore just her bikini. Needless to say...we got burnt. Awesome. However, while on the beach, we saw some sights that made the day.

We closed up shop at the beach and went back to the room to aloe up before dinner. We had Red Curry Chicken at a place the next block over. It was so so. A little strong on the bay leaf. On our way home after dinner, we found a man with a pancake stand. Changed our lives. He toasted these flour tortilla like breads in butter and then coated them with sugar and sweetened condensed milk. It was pure bliss.

We fell asleep that night to a mix of Western and Eastern pop music videos.
